We are currently feeding haleem and akhni in the following areas:
- Fietas
- Riverlea
- Newlands
- Westbury
Based on donor funding we wish to expand to further areas where there is a dire need.
The cost per degh is as follows:
- Chicken haleem R 2 300
- Mutton haleem R 2 600
- Beef haleem R 2 400
- Paya haleem R 2 400
- Chicken akhni R 2 800
- Beef pilau R 3 800
- Mince akhni R 3 500
A degh of haleem feeds approximately 200 people and a degh akhni feeds approximately 100 people.
You do not have to donate a full degh – any amount you can contribute will assist.
